Even with his current health conditions, the NCAA record-breaker is
confident. “I feel like I put myself in a position where my immediate
thought isn’t where I’m getting drafted. I feel like I’m in a good
position where I have a high chance of getting drafted, so now my
immediate goal is being ready for the season, being ready for summer
league, being ready to play well, “ Marshall comments.
Although Marshall has yet to say if he will participate in any
drills, he definitely plans to get as much face time with the teams as
possible. Marshall is firm believer in first impressions, “They’ve seen
you play obviously, they hear what kind of person you are but to
actually meet with you face to face, that can be the difference between
them taking you or not. I’m comfortable. I feel like I have a good
reputation. I present myself well and I’m excited about it.” His
positive outlook on his trip to Chicago is hoped to deter attention from
his injuries.
